At Castle we work tirelessly to encourage our children to ‘Aim High’ to be successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum designed to foster a love of learning and provide a wealth of exciting opportunities that really motivate our children to do their best! We focus on ensuring that children master essential skills so that they are numerate, literate and proficient in the use of ICT as well as developing key personal, social and emotional skills. The good and sometimes outstanding provision has been recognised by Ofsted in our most recent inspection (2011). All of our staff are committed to maintain our high standards and to continue to improve the experiences we offer our pupils. Staff are forward thinking and innovative. We have a strong reputation for the performing arts, and children enjoy participating in numerous theatrical performances and concerts. We also have an enviable reputation for sport and offer a wealth of opportunities. Our emphasis is on participation for all, though we believe it is important for children to experience competition.
