Despite the delayed start this morning, everyone has arrived at Stubbington Study Centre, ready for an exciting few days.

The children have enjoyed the last two days' activities which have included buggy building, climbing, abseiling and archery. The rain has stopped on the island for the moment and they are looking forward to today. Please check emails tomorrow regarding estimated return time...
Mr Loneragan has phoned this morning to confirm that all the children have settled in well, had a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast this morning. They are now looking forward to their first full day of activities and it looks like they'll have a lovely day for it!
We have received the following information from the DfE:
The official date of the State Funeral is 19 September 2022. This day will be a bank holiday and settings that are normally closed on a bank holiday should close on this day as a mark of respect. This will include schools and colleges.
School will therefore be closed on Monday 19 September and reopen on Tuesday 20 September.
Friday 1 April
10:00 Y5 have left Stone farm and we anticipate their return at around 15:00. As the journey is a long one we anticipate this is very much an approximate time - we will text when the coach is close by...
Wednesday 30 March
Y5 arrived safe and well on Tuesday afternoon and enjoyed getting to know the farm animals. It's a day of hiking on Dartmoor today!

Friday 18 February. As school was already closed to children due to it being an Inset day we hope that the weather warning is not causing too much disruption for parents. However, this morning, advice to all Hampshire schools from the local authority was to stay shut today. Please be aware that the office is also closed until we return on Monday 28 February.
It's been a hectic morning - everyone has been up early to finish packing followed by the final breakfast of the week. Activities of the last day include problem solving, climbing or 'team tech'. The coach is expected to collect and depart at 11:00am.
All slept well last evening. Another delicious cooked breakfast finished off and everyone is ready to start the final full day which includes: bushcraft, 3D swing, low ropes, climbing and problem solving.
