    Curriculum newsletters for each year group are being emailed this week, so please check your account. Paper copies will be sent to those who have requested them and there is a copy on this website in the Parents section / Letters.

  • Little Canada

    We are anticipating that Y6 will return to school today at approximately 3:15pm. Should this change we will endeavour to keep parents informed via text/email.

  • Little Canada update

    Wednesday - A few showers today but we are smiling through after crumble for dinner! We tested our teamwork today and our climbing skills and in the evening put our brains to work in the Castle quiz.  Another exciting day ahead tomorrow which will be our last full day at Little Canada. :-(

     

    Thursday - Everyone slept well last night after a tiring day... Another busy day of activities planned today before the disco tonight!

    Another great day of weather on the island today and an activity-packed Tuesday. We are constantly amazed by how willing the children are to try new things and push themselves to their own limits. We are looking forward to a great night's sleep, ready for another busy day tomorrow!

  • Little Canada Residential

    The children had a busy day yesterday with lots of activities including: trapeze, zip wire, problem solving, aeroball and Jacob's ladder. Children are enjoying the food choices and are eating well. They had fun at the 'Wacky Races' last night pretending to be chickens!!! All children slept well last night and are raring to go with today's activities including: a beach walk, fencing and a sensory trail. 

  • Year 6 Little Canada Residential

    All the children (and their luggage!) have arrived safely after a sunny but windy trip to Bembridge Lifeboat station and settled into their cosy huts, where they all slept well last night.

     
    Everyone has settled well into their chalets which are lovely and warm. We had 3 choices for dinner last night, finished off with donuts!
     
    After celebrating 2 birthdays with cake and songs, the children then wore themselves out further with some team games in the sports hall. After enjoying a hearty breakfast this morning, they were all ready to begin the day's activities at 8:30.

  • Signing Club

    This term's Signing Club will be starting on Tuesday 17th January. Letters will be sent home with children this week who have attended previously or who are on the waiting list advising whether they have a place.

  • Christmas Walkaround

    Don't forget to come in to school at 3:30 on Tuesday 13th December for the annual Christmas Walkaround - see the themed displays in the classrooms and throughout the school and enjoy a mincemeat slice....

  • Christmas Lunch - Thurs 15th Dec

    Letters detailing the Christmas lunch will be going home today. There is no need to pre-book this year, just send in £2.10 (if your child is in Year 3-6) and book on the day.

  • 4G Minstead

    13:00 4G arrived at Minstead in the early afternoon and are busily getting ready for their walk in the New Forest. All are excited about the next few days!
