Year 3

All the children have settled in really well and have quickly become experts in all the new handwashing routines, staggered break times and entry and exit points involved in daily school life. It has been fantastic to see how sensible and positive they have all been.

Just a reminder regarding the normal school routines:

After half-term our PE day will change to Mondays, with tag rugby. Please still send in tracksuits etc to keep us warm the rest of the day. Please send your child in with a pair of old trainers in a labelled plastic bag for them to keep in their locker and wear just for Tag Rugby as we could be on the field and get quite muddy!

Homework is due in on Wednesdays.

Times tables and spelling tests are still on Fridays, with new words and homework sent home on Fridays.

Lots of children have been busy earning smilies for reading at home - every time they have read to an adult 5 times, they will earn a smilie. Please remember to write in your child's reading record as they love to receive their sticker.

Logins for TTRockstars have been stuck into the front of homework books and a new weekly year 3 interclass challenge starts every Friday.

Thank you for all your support at home, it is so beneficial for the children to understand the links between their lives at home and school.
