Please find below home learning that has been set. We do not recommend that you follow our daily timetable, rather find the best way to build your child's learning into a routine that works for you and allows you time to work with any other children you have and also work from home. It is important to allow your child plenty of time for learning through play. We understand that this is a difficult time for you as parents so please do not feel that you need to complete all the activities but as a minimum please try to do the phonics, the sentence writing, magic maths and explorers. Keep sharing books with your child.
A member of the Yr R staff will be available via Tapestry each school day to answer any questions about the learning.
This will be set on a weekly basis (the format will change from next week to include physical and wellbeing activities) and we encourage you to post on Tapestry so we can see how your child is getting on.
Well, hopefully this will be the final week of home learning for most of you and we are so looking forward to seeing everyone back in school.
All the Staff in YR would like to thank you so much for the hard work you have put in to supporting your children's learning, we have loved seeing what everyone has been up to.
Whilst we won't be posting home learning on the website after this week there will be home learning available if you should need to isolate.
If you or your child become ill with Covid we will not send out home learning as a matter of course but wait for you to let us know when and if you or your child are well enough to recive it. Home learning would be sent out by e mail as obviously you will not be able to collect a pack.
Enjoy this last week with your children and we will see you all on the 8th March.
Welcome back Everyone!
We hope you had a super half term and feel a little rested.
This half term we will look a little closer at why we celebrate Shrove Tuesday/Pancake day, getting involved with world book week and investigating the new life that is emerging as Spring arrives and we get closer to Easter.
We are very much hoping that all the children will be back in school sometime this half term as I am sure you are, however, until that point we will continue to post Home Learning each friday on the school website.
Do please contact us if you have any concerns or any questions regarding the home learning or your children.
Please keep posting your home learning on Tapestry with no more that one post a day but at the least one a week.
Thank you for your on going hard work and lets hope we are all back to together again soon.

Tricky words are the words that you can not 'sound out' in English. These words need to be memorised as a whole word.
The children will bring home tricky word Bingo games in a zippy wallet in their book bags. Please follow the instructions provided inside the zippy wallet. We encourage you to practise these regularly at home to support your child's progress.
Please find below some extra sets of the Bingo words and games you can play to support your child's recall of the tricky words.
