Please find below home learning that has been set. We do not recommend that you follow our daily timetable, rather find the best way to build your child's learning into a routine that works for you and allows you time to work with any other children you have and also work from home. It is important to allow your child plenty of time for learning through play. We understand that this is a difficult time for you as parents so please do not feel that you need to complete all the activities but as a minimum please try to do the phonics, the sentence writing, magic maths and explorers. Keep sharing books with your child.
A member of the Yr R staff will be available via Tapestry each school day to answer any questions about the learning.
This will be set on a weekly basis (the format will change from next week to include physical and wellbeing activities) and we encourage you to post on Tapestry so we can see how your child is getting on.
Hello YR
well done for completing another week of home learning. We are loving seeing all the super learning you are doing. We have lots more exciting learning planned for this week and we will be thinking about the story of the 3 little pigs; do you know that story?
Parents, just a reminder that we need to see what your children have been learning at home so ask that you try to post this on Tapestry once a day or at the very least a summary of all learning once a week.
We love seeing what you have been doing and appreciate how hard you have been working to support your children in their learning.
If we can support you in any way with home learning or you have any queries do contact us and we will do our best to help.
Good luck with this week's learning.
Hello Year R!
Well done for the fantastic home learning you have done in your first week at home.
Please remember to post once a day on Tapestry or an overarching post for the week to let us see your work.
Please find reading material and extra tricky words in the section below. Extra website links have also been added to keep you busy!
Enjoy the week ahead and we look forward to hearing from you.

Tricky words are the words that you can not 'sound out' in English. These words need to be memorised as a whole word.
The children will bring home tricky word Bingo games in a zippy wallet in their book bags. Please follow the instructions provided inside the zippy wallet. We encourage you to practise these regularly at home to support your child's progress.
Please find below some extra sets of the Bingo words and games you can play to support your child's recall of the tricky words.
