😊 Thank you for your support in helping your child make the most of their learning at home.
We are excited to offer two educational visits throughout the year to enrich our curriculum and bring learning to life.
🐑 Stone Farm Study Centre Residential
Our Year 5 children will begin the year with a residential visit to Stone Farm Study Centre. This provides a wonderful opportunity for children to develop independence, teamwork and confidence in a beautiful countryside setting. During their stay, children will help to care for and tend to a variety of farm animals, while taking part in a range of outdoor learning activities.
🌎 The Eden Project
As part of our learning about the Maya civilisation and the Brazilian rainforest, we will visit the Eden Project. Exploring the famous Rainforest Biome will help children develop their understanding of tropical rainforest environments, biodiversity and the importance of conservation.
🏡 Weald & Downland Living Museum
To support our history topic on the Anglo-Saxons, we will visit the Weald & Downland Living Museum. Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, children will discover what life was like in Anglo-Saxon Britain and gain a deeper understanding of this fascinating period in history.
These visits provide exciting opportunities for children to deepen their understanding, make meaningful connections with their learning and create lasting memories throughout the year.
