We are pleased to announce that we have planned two additional open afternoons in November for children starting school In September 2024. Please ensure you contact the school to book a place as spaces are limited.
These will be on:
14 November and 22 November, 1330-1430.
There will be a brief tour of the school and then half an hour spent in Year R learning about our wonderful Squirrels and Hedgehogs classes.
Personal tours with the headteacher can be booked as well if required via the school office.
We are also offering a stay and play session on December 6, 1535-1605. This is for parents who may be considering Castle and would like the opportunity for their child to 'try out' our year R. Please contact us via the office to book a place.
1030 - Children are on the coach and are heading home... time of arrival will be confirmed later, but we are expecting around 3pm.
Update from Mrs Barker - she doesn't think the coach will be back earlier than 3:30pm - but obviously this is dependent on the Friday motorway traffic!
1405 - update - traffic is a bit slow - ETA now 4pm.
...and it's been another visit to Eden today! Final night ahead before the journey home tomorrow.
Update from Mrs Barker - good night's sleep had... everyone is off to The Eden Project today!
All the children have had a good first night and are now very excited to be on their way to the Eden Project...
1530 Year 5 have arrived at Stone Farm and are busy settling in.
All at Castle wish everyone a super Coronation weekend.
All the children slept really well last night and are ready for their final morning at Stubbington.

The children have had another great day. The weather has not stopped the children taking part in their morning activities. This afternoon the children were being foxes hunting for chickens while trying to evade the grumpy farmers (Mrs Thomas and Mr Taylor)!
They finished the afternoon by investigating all the tracks and trails left by the various animals who live on site.
Looking forward to another delicious dinner and evening activity. Hoping to see some badgers and foxes when we visit the hides later on.
All children slept ok. At the time of writing children are just getting up and ready for a delicious cooked breakfast. Looking forward to another fun packed day. Today we have the Earthquake and shelter building activity. This afternoon we have got Stubbington Fox followed by tracks and trails.
We are all having a fab time.
Mrs Thomas and Mr Taylor
