We look forward to welcoming parents and families to our Sports Morning on Tuesday 19th June. This is due to start at around 9:30am and parents are welcome to wait in the infant playground after dropping off children.
Please bear in mind that in the event of extreme heat or wet weather we will be making a decision on Monday whether to postpone the event; we do appreciate this may be inconvenient but the health and safety of the children will be our priority.
Due to icy conditions across the infant and junior playgrounds and several routes around the school, the White Hart Lane entrance WILL NOT BE OPEN this morning.
Children should use the main Castle Street entrance only as the route into the building at the front of the school has been cleared. Registers will remain open a little later for those children that usually use White Hart Lane and are therefore delayed. Thank you for your co-operation.
Dear Parents/Carers,
Regrettably, school will be closed tomorrow due to health and safety reasons. These are:
* the current levels of snow on the school site and the surrounding roads are likely to be unsafe tomorrow
* the forecast for further snowfall throughout the day
* the freezing conditions that are likely to cause ice on roads and pavements
* the low numbers of staff that are likely to be able to reach the school in the morning
We hope to reopen on Monday. We are informing parents this evening so that sufficient time is available for parents to plan for tomorrow.
